Mechanical push-button padlock

The Master Lock 1177 is a resettable combination padlock built with a solid brass body and a boron-alloy shackle. Four dials on the bottom face let the user set a personal code without tools. The lock is intended for utility meters, substations, cable boxes, construction sites, equipment yards, storefront gates and business gates where key control is not required.

Resettable four-dial code

Because the combination is user-resettable, authorised personnel can change the code whenever access lists change, removing the need to re-key or replace cylinders. A single bumper protects the dial mechanism from impact and weather. No control key registration is needed, so administration stays simple for sites that manage many locks.

Mechanical limits

The lock relies entirely on its internal mechanical tumblers; there is no electronic audit trail, remote release or master-key override.
