Satin Nickel Ball Knob Privacy Set

This Master Lock BAO0315/T6P privacy knob set fits interior doors that need a locking function without a key. The satin nickel finish resists everyday wear and matches modern hardware. It installs on doors between 1 3/8 and 1 3/4 inches thick with an adjustable backset. The 2 1/8 inch crossbore requirement matches standard door prep.

Interior Rooms Needing Simple Privacy

Bedrooms and bathrooms gain a push-button lock that releases from inside by turning the knob. The Grade 3 rating covers standard residential duty where heavy traffic is not expected. Builders needing a keyed entry lock or a higher ANSI grade for commercial doors should choose different hardware. The included strike plate measures 2 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches.

ANSI Grade 3 Residential Certification

This lockset meets ANSI Grade 3 standards for residential security and durability. The steel mechanism operates a latch bolt retracted by the ball knob on both sides. No key cylinder is present, so the lock cannot be opened from outside when engaged. The adjustable latch fits backsets from 2 3/8 to 2 3/4 inches.
