Low-profile workstation card drives four Mini DisplayPort monitors at 2560 x 1600 each with 1 GB memory and fanless cooling
The Matrox M9148-E1024LAF is a new workstation graphics card with 1GB memory and a PCI Express x16 interface. It occupies a single low-profile slot and uses a fanless cooler for silent operation. Four Mini DisplayPort outputs each support up to 2560 x 1600 digital resolution. The board drives a maximum of four displays simultaneously.
This card suits users who need four independent monitors from a single low-profile board in Windows 7, Vista, XP, Server 2003 or 2008 and Linux. It is not for buyers who want more than 1GB video memory or higher OpenGL versions. It is not for builders who need active cooling for sustained 3D workloads. It is not for systems lacking a PCI Express x16 slot.
The card ships with a factory-installed ATX bracket and a low-profile bracket in the box for small-form-factor cases. Four miniDP to DP adapters and four DP to DVI adapters are included for monitor connections. Verify that your chassis can accommodate the chosen bracket height before ordering. Check that your power supply can deliver sufficient power through the PCI Express slot alone.
