Collectible Doll Honouring Día de Muertos

This limited-edition Barbie Signature doll celebrates the Mexican holiday with a detailed multi-tiered gown inspired by cempasúchil flowers. It features the Lina face sculpt and Gigi body type, designed by Ari Sarinana with packaging by Charis Ceniseroz. Intricate sugar-skull-style makeup and festive jewellery reflect the cultural traditions. The doll serves as a meaningful keepsake for collectors and enthusiasts of heritage artistry.

Display Stand and Certificate Included

Each doll ships with a dedicated display stand and a certificate of authenticity verifying its limited-edition status. These items allow for immediate presentation on a shelf or in a cabinet without additional accessories. The packaging is designed to protect the doll and its detailed gown during storage. Collectors can maintain the product's condition and provenance easily with the provided components.

Designed for Display, Not Play

The elaborate gown, delicate headpiece, and detailed face paint are crafted for visual appreciation rather than active handling. Joint articulation suits posing on the included stand but may limit dynamic play scenarios. Buyers seeking a durable toy for children's daily play should consider standard Barbie lines instead. This collectible prioritises aesthetic fidelity and cultural representation over ruggedness.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the doll for display without damaging the multi-tiered gown?

Place the doll on the included stand and arrange the cempasúchil-inspired gown tiers so they drape naturally over the base; avoid forcing the fabric through the stand clip.

What part of the doll will need replacement first if kept on long-term display?

The sugar-skull-style face paint and delicate jewelry are most vulnerable to fading or tarnish under sustained light exposure.

What limits how long the doll can stay on display before the certificate of authenticity degrades?

Prolonged UV light and humidity will cause the paper certificate to yellow and become brittle before the doll itself shows wear.
