Interactive Car Wash Playset

The Mattel Disney Pixar Cars Color Changers Race Ready Car Wash Playset is a new toy vehicle set designed for children who enjoy the Cars movie franchise. It includes a Lightning McQueen toy car and an interactive wash station that encourages imaginative storytelling. The set features familiar graphics from the films and series to create a recognisable play environment.

Color-Change Temperature Limits

The color-change effect on the included Lightning McQueen car activates only with very warm water and reverses only with icy cold water. Lukewarm or room-temperature water will not trigger the shift, so the play feature depends on access to two distinct water temperatures. The effect is repeatable but requires the user to supply both temperature extremes each session.

Setup Requirements Before Ordering

Check that your play area can tolerate water splashes and has a stable surface for the playset. You will need a source of very warm water and a separate container of icy cold water to operate the color-change feature as intended. The set is designed for the included vehicle only; additional Color Changers cars are sold separately if you want more variety.

Questions about this item

Which version of this playset should I choose?

Only one version exists — the Race Ready Car Wash playset with an included Color Change Lightning McQueen vehicle.

What does the color-change feature actually do when the car is in the playset?

Dunk the car in very warm water from the Piston Cup to shift its color, then launch it through the finish line into the icy cold water tank to revert to the original design.

How does the playset connect to other toys or tracks?

It is a standalone water-play set with a ramp, flag, wash station, and dunk tank; no track connectors or electronic interfaces are included.
