Massive 25.7-Inch Mosasaurus Figure

The Mattel JJP80 Bite N Blast Mosasaurus is a full-size action figure measuring 25.7 inches long with movie-accurate detailing and articulated fins, tail, and movable joints. It includes a mini Dilophosaurus figure that can be swallowed whole and blasted back out using the button-activated bite mechanism. Designed for children aged four and up, it suits dinosaur fans who want a large, interactive centrepiece for imaginative play.

Button-Activated Bite and Blast Mechanism

This figure replaces static display models by adding a mechanical jaw that opens wide to swallow the included mini Dilophosaurus completely into the body cavity. Pressing the button again ejects the prey for repeatable action sequences. The jump is worth it when a child wants cause-and-effect play that mirrors on-screen feeding scenes rather than only posing a stationary toy.

Suits Ages Four Plus Seeking App-Enhanced Play

The set suits younger dinosaur enthusiasts who can operate a simple button trigger and enjoy augmented-reality activities unlocked by scanning the hidden code with a compatible smart device. It is less suited for collectors seeking a highly detailed, non-mechanical replica or for buyers who want a smaller, more portable figure without electronic integration.

Questions about this item

How much shelf space does the 25.7-inch long Mosasaurus figure require for display?

The figure measures 25.7 inches in length, so allow at least that much clear horizontal space plus room for the articulated fins and tail to move freely without hitting walls or other items.

What is the correct way to activate the Bite feature so the mini Dilophosaurus is swallowed completely?

Hold the tail firmly with one hand, then press the button on the body; the jaw opens wide and the prey slides fully inside — pressing the button a second time blasts it back out.

Will the AR code under the fin stop working if the fin paint wears off from handling?

The tracking code is printed under the fin; if heavy play rubs the print away, scanning may fail, so handle that area gently to keep the app features working.
