Collector Multipack Overview

The Mattel Matchbox Project Convoy Collector Multipack delivers four 1:64 scale die-cast vehicles straight from the movie opening scene. The set centres on a Land Rover 6x6 hero vehicle pursued by a pair of Toyota Tacoma models and a Toyota 4Runner, each finished with movie-accurate off-road deco. Packaging graphics recreate the desert landscape, staging the trucks mid-chase for immediate display appeal.

Target Audience & Limits

Collectors seeking screen-accurate replicas and fans of the film will appreciate the exclusive 4Runner deco unavailable elsewhere. The multipack suits display-focused buyers who value premium box art and staged presentation. Shoppers wanting single-vehicle purchases, larger scales, or generic Matchbox assortments without movie licensing should consider other ranges.

Display & Play Integration

The 1:64 scale keeps the footprint small, letting the quartet sit on a shelf, desk or diorama base without demanding dedicated cabinet space. Die-cast construction withstands occasional handling while the decorated box doubles as a backdrop, freeing the owner from sourcing separate display materials. No batteries or assembly are required, so the set is ready for play or static display straight from the package.

Questions about this item

Does the multipack include any track pieces or playset accessories so the 1:64 scale vehicles can be used right away?

The set contains only the four die-cast vehicles — a Land Rover 6x6, two Toyota Tacomas and a Toyota 4Runner — with no track or playset pieces included.

Will the 1:64 scale Land Rover 6x6 and Toyota models fit on standard Matchbox track and playsets I already own?

Yes, all four vehicles are built to 1:64 scale, so they are compatible with existing Matchbox track systems and playsets designed for that scale.

How can I verify the Toyota 4Runner has the exclusive deco mentioned for this multipack?

Compare the 4Runner's paint scheme and graphics to the movie-inspired artwork shown on the premium display box; the exclusive deco matches that desert-chase artwork.
