Minecraft Steve & Chicken 2-Pack

This set contains two mini figures based on the Minecraft video game: Steve and a Chicken. They are designed for children aged six and above who enjoy collecting character toys. The figures feature the game's signature 8-bit visual style and are intended for play or display.

NFC chip unlocks in-game boosts

Each figure contains an embedded NFC chip that is scanned with a mobile device to activate a specific boost within the Minecraft Earth augmented reality game. This digital integration provides a gameplay advantage that physical figures without chips cannot offer. The feature requires the Minecraft Earth mobile application to function.

Simple scan setup with app dependency

Installation involves opening the Minecraft Earth app on a compatible mobile device and scanning the figure's chip. The process is straightforward but fails completely if the app is unavailable, uninstalled, or incompatible with the device. No physical assembly is required for the figures themselves.

Questions about this item

Will the NFC chip inside the figures need to be replaced or recharged over time?

The NFC chip is passive and requires no battery or maintenance; it draws power from the mobile device when scanned.

What stops the boost from working if I scan the same figure repeatedly?

Each figure provides a single in-game boost per Minecraft Earth account; scanning it again will not grant another boost.

Do the figures generate any heat or noise when used with the mobile game all day?

The figures contain no electronics that produce heat or sound; only the mobile device consumes power during scanning.
