Maxell 190135 CD/DVD Sleeves 50pk

Maxell 190135 CD/DVD Sleeves 50pk

This pack contains 50 white paper sleeves designed to protect, store and share CDs and DVDs. Each sleeve measures 5.25 L x 1.25 W x 6.25 H inches and weighs 0.25 pounds total. A clear plastic window allows easy disc identification without removing the media. The back flap secures the disc against scratches, dirt and fingerprints.

Storage limits of paper sleeves

Paper sleeves occupy less than half the space of a slim jewel case, making them useful for optimising storage capacity in tight areas. The thin profile lacks rigid structure, so discs can bend if the stack is compressed or dropped. The single-layer paper offers no shock absorption for impacts that a hard case would deflect. Clear windows can cloud over time, reducing long-term legibility for archived media.

Upgrading from loose storage or bulky cases

These sleeves replace loose discs in drawers, spindles or thick jewel cases where space is wasted and surfaces risk abrasion. The jump is worth it when you need to condense a large library into a portable, labelled format for transport or shelf organisation. They are not suited for buyers who require rigid crush protection, water resistance or long-term archival sleeves with acid-free materials.
