Maxim 12263CDBK Acadia 3-Light 25" Black Vanity Light

What it is and who it suits

The Maxim 12263CDBK Acadia is a 25-inch-wide bathroom vanity light finished in black with three Clear Seedy glass shades. It provides focused illumination above a mirror for daily grooming tasks. The fixture suits homeowners updating a single-bathroom vanity who want a clean, traditional frame without ornate detailing. Buyers needing more than three light sources or a different finish colour will need another model.

Installation notes and common issues

Mounting hardware is included for standard junction-box attachment. The design converts between semi-flush and hanging chandelier configurations, so verify the desired orientation before wiring. Ensure the electrical box is rated for the fixture weight and that local code permits the chosen mounting style. A common oversight is forgetting to confirm the glass orientation when switching between the two mounting modes.

Deciding specification

The three-light layout with Clear Seedy glass determines the total light output and diffusion pattern for the vanity area. This shade count and glass type are fixed and cannot be altered after purchase. If the bathroom requires a higher lumen count or a different glass texture, this fixture will not meet that need.
