Product Identity

The Maxim 89905OIWP is a 52 inch ceiling fan finished in oil rubbed bronze with reversible walnut and pecan blades. It is designed for residential rooms that want a traditional look and reliable air circulation.

Installation Fit

This fan suits buyers who need flexible mounting because it installs as a close mount, on a standard stem, or with optional stems up to 72 inches long. It is not for spaces that require a flush-only fixture or a damp-rated motor for covered outdoor use.

Sustained Operation

The motor runs continuously at the selected speed without the short-burst limitations seen in some portable fans. California Proposition 65 notices apply because the product contains a chemical known to the state to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

What ceiling height and mounting hardware do I need to install the 52 in. Basic-Max fan?

The Basic-Max installs three ways: close mount, standard stem, or optional stems up to 72 in. long. Choose the method that matches your ceiling height and included hardware.

Will the 52 in. blade span and oil-rubbed bronze housing fit alongside my existing 12.5 in. light fixtures?

The 52 in. diameter and oil-rubbed bronze finish are independent of other fixtures. Ensure the mounting location clears the blade sweep and that wiring capacity supports the fan.

How can I confirm the Walnut and Pecan reversible blades are operating correctly after setup?

Verify the fan runs smoothly on all speeds, the reversible blades are secured in the desired finish, and the oil-rubbed bronze housing shows no wobble or unusual noise during operation.
