Product identity

The Maxim Mfg. 11842CDABBK Sleek is a two-light bath vanity fixture finished in matte Black with Antique Brass socket covers. It suits homeowners who want a clean, low-maintenance light above a bathroom mirror.

Glass and finish impact

Clear Seedy glass cylinders diffuse the glow while adding subtle texture to the matte Black frame. The Antique Brass socket covers introduce a warm accent that coordinates with mixed-metal bathroom hardware.

Installation notes

The fixture mounts to a standard junction box using the supplied hardware. Heavier glass cylinders require careful alignment during assembly, and the matte Black finish can show fingerprints until the final wipe-down.

Questions about this item

What bulbs will need replacing in the 11842CDABBK vanity and how often?

The fixture uses two standard bulbs in Antique Brass sockets; replace them when they burn out, typically every few years depending on daily run time.

What limits continuous operation of the 11842CDABBK — heat, wiring or glass temperature?

The open Clear Seedy glass cylinders dissipate heat naturally, so the practical limit is the bulb wattage rating marked on the socket covers.

How much noise, heat or power does the 11842CDABBK produce when left on all day?

The vanity has no moving parts and draws only the wattage of the two installed bulbs, so it runs silently with minimal heat output.
