Outpost 1-Light Sconce 6"W x 7.25"H
The Maxim Lighting 26106AL Outpost is a single-light outdoor wall sconce measuring 6 inches wide by 7.25 inches high. Its classic cylinder design directs light both upward and downward to reduce glare. The fixture is offered in Architectural Bronze, Aluminum or Black finishes. It carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.
Suits accent and entry lighting.
This sconce fits homeowners who want directional wall lighting for porches, pathways or architectural accents. Buyers needing broad-area flood illumination, integrated motion sensing or smart-home controls should consider other fixture types. The design focuses on controlled up-and-down spread rather than wide wash coverage.
Mounts to standard junction box.
Installation requires a typical outdoor electrical box and wiring rated for damp locations. The housing accepts either incandescent or LED lamps, so the builder selects the preferred light source and efficiency level. No transformer or driver is included, leaving the circuit design open to the electrician's specification.

Questions about this item
Does the 26106AL sconce include the required mounting hardware and junction box, or must I supply them?
The fixture is designed for standard wall mounting; the package includes the mounting bracket and hardware needed to attach it to a junction box, which must be installed in the wall beforehand.
Can I pair this 7.25-inch-tall fixture with my existing incandescent outdoor lights on the same circuit?
Yes, the sconce accepts a standard medium-base bulb, so it will operate normally alongside incandescent fixtures on the same switched circuit.
How can I verify the up-and-down light pattern is working correctly after installation?
Turn the switch on at night; you should see two distinct beams projecting upward and downward from the cylinder without glare spilling sideways.
