Outpost 2-Light Outdoor Wall Sconce

The Maxim Mfg. Outpost 26109AL is a new outdoor wall sconce designed for exterior illumination. It features a classic cylinder silhouette that directs light both upward and downward. This two-light fixture provides directional lighting while minimising glare for residential or commercial facades.

Suited for cylindrical directional lighting

Buyers wanting a fixture that casts light up and down without glare will find this sconce appropriate. Those needing a different mounting style, integrated smart controls or a non-cylinder form factor should consider other options. The product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive harm.

22-inch height cylinder profile

The sconce measures 22 inches tall with a 6-inch width, establishing a tall, narrow presence on the wall. This vertical proportion determines how the up-and-down beams spread across the mounting surface. Verify these dimensions against the installation area before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the incandescent or LED version of the Outpost 26109AL?

Choose LED for lower energy use and longer life, or incandescent if you prefer the traditional warm glow and easier dimming.

How does the 22-inch height affect the light spread on my wall?

The 22-inch cylinder casts a focused up-and-down beam that highlights architectural details without glare.

What does the Proposition 65 warning mean for outdoor installation?

The fixture contains a listed chemical; handle with gloves during mounting and wash hands afterward, but normal outdoor use poses no added risk.
