Honeycomb 16" Black / Gold Flush Mount

The Maxim Mfg. 30330BKGLD Honeycomb is a decorative flush mount with a 16 inch diameter. A series of hexagonal metal shades are slightly tapered to create a gentle arc when suspended together. The dramatic combination of Black with Gold interior adds flair to a unique and bold design. Ample illumination comes from high power integrated LED softened by acrylic diffusers recessed into each compartment.

Replacing older flush fixtures

This model replaces dated ceiling lights that lack integrated LED and modern styling. The jump is worth it when you want a bold honeycomb silhouette with warm gold accents and diffused output in a single unit. Buyers who need a traditional shade shape or a fixture without a Proposition 65 warning should look elsewhere.

Straightforward ceiling installation

Mounting follows standard flush mount steps using the supplied hardware and a compatible junction box. Integrated LED removes the need for separate bulb handling during setup. The acrylic diffusers sit recessed inside each hexagonal compartment so they stay aligned if the shade is cleaned gently. California Proposition 65 notices apply to chemicals in the finish.

Questions about this item

What ceiling box spacing does the 16 inch flush mount require?

The fixture mounts to a standard ceiling junction box; no special spacing beyond the box itself is needed.

How is the integrated LED module secured during installation, and what step is often missed?

The LED module is factory sealed inside the hexagonal shade assembly; the step installers miss is seating the acrylic diffuser fully into each compartment before tightening the canopy.

When will the integrated LED or acrylic diffuser need replacement?

The integrated LED is not user replaceable; the acrylic diffusers can be removed for cleaning but only need replacement if cracked.
