Product Identity

The Maxim Mfg. 57660WTBK is a single-light flush mount designed for indoor ceiling installations. It suits homeowners or contractors wanting a thin, disc-shaped LED fixture that mimics the look of recessed lighting without requiring a can.

Decisive Specification

The fixture measures five inches wide and uses integrated LED discs with a white polycarbonate diffuser for even illumination. No bulb socket is present, so the light source cannot be replaced or upgraded separately.

Thermals and Power

The die-cast aluminium housing acts as a heat sink for the integrated LEDs, keeping surface temperatures low during continuous operation. The unit runs silently with no moving parts and draws minimal power thanks to high-efficiency LED technology.

Questions about this item

How does the 5-inch width affect coverage in a real room?

The 5-inch diameter produces a focused pool of light suited to hallways, closets or small task areas rather than general room illumination.

What wiring standard does the integrated LED use and what does that limit?

The fixture runs on mains-voltage AC so it connects directly to a standard junction box without a separate low-voltage driver.

What mounting hardware is needed for the die-cast aluminum housing?

The flush-mount base screws to a standard octagon or round ceiling box and the thin profile leaves minimal gap to the ceiling surface.
