Product identity and intended use

The Maxim Mfg. 57660WTSN is a single-light flush mount finished in satin nickel. It suits residential and light-commercial projects that want the clean look of recessed lighting without cutting into the ceiling. Builders who need a hanging fixture should note that a separate pendant adapter is required.

Sustained-load behaviour

Thin discs of evenly illuminated LED create the impression of recessed lighting and maintain consistent output during extended operation. High efficiency and good colour rendering mean the light quality stays stable over long periods rather than fading or shifting after a short burst.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

The die-cast aluminium housing acts as a passive heat sink, so the fixture runs silently with no moving parts. California Proposition 65 warnings indicate the product contains chemicals known to the state to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm, a disclosure required for sale in that jurisdiction.

Questions about this item

How warm does the satin nickel flush mount get when left on all day?

The LED discs run efficiently and the aluminium housing acts as a heat sink, so the surface stays only slightly warm during continuous use.

What existing electrical fitting do I need to mount the 57660WTSN?

A standard ceiling junction box rated for the fixture weight is required; the unit bolts directly to the box with the supplied hardware.

Can the 57660WTSN share a circuit with older incandescent fixtures?

Yes — the low-wattage LED load adds minimal draw, so it works alongside legacy lights on the same breaker without flicker or dimmer conflict.
