Product Identity

The Maxim Mfg. 57665WTWT is a 4.75-inch white flush mount designed for interior ceiling installations. It uses a single integrated LED disc to produce even illumination that mimics the look of recessed lighting. The die-cast aluminum housing and recessed white polycarbonate diffuser suit residential and light-commercial projects.

Who This Suits

This fixture suits installers who need a low-profile, surface-mounted light with high efficiency and good color rendering. It is not for buyers who require a larger diameter, a different finish such as black or satin nickel, or a multi-light assembly. It also does not suit projects needing a dimming protocol or smart-home integration not confirmed in the specifications.

Installation Notes

The unit mounts directly to a standard ceiling junction box for straightforward flush installation. An optional pendant adapter can convert the fixture to a hanging style if required. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

What ceiling box must already be installed for the 4.75" flush mount to attach?

The fixture mounts to a standard ceiling junction box; the 4.75" canopy covers the box opening.

Can the optional pendant adapter work with an existing hanging fixture chain?

The pendant adapter converts the flush mount to a hanging fixture; it replaces the canopy rather than connecting to an existing chain.

How do I verify the LED discs are illuminating evenly after installation?

Switch the circuit on; the thin discs should produce uniform, recessed-looking light with good color rendering.
