Odeon 8-Light WiFi Fan

The Maxim Mfg. 61018 Odeon is a new ceiling fan with eight integrated LED lights. It suits homeowners who want combined air circulation and illumination in a single fixture. The design features bevelled tapered glass panels around a metal frame finished in Chestnut Bronze or Golden Silver. Buyers needing a basic fan without lighting should look elsewhere.

WiFi Control Limits

The unit includes WiFi-enabled functions to dim the supplied LED bulbs and operate fan controls from a connected device. Network range, router compatibility and app stability depend on the local wireless environment. No other smart-home protocols or voice-assistant integrations are mentioned in the data. Users without a reliable home WiFi network cannot use the remote features.

Installation Notes

The product ships directly from the manufacturer. California Proposition 65 warnings note the presence of chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm. Professional electrical installation is recommended to ensure safe connection and compliance with local codes.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the Chestnut Bronze or Golden Silver finish for the 61018 Odeon fan?

Both finishes use the same eight-light LED array and WiFi controls; the choice is purely aesthetic — Chestnut Bronze gives a warmer traditional look while Golden Silver suits cooler modern palettes.

How does the WiFi-enabled LED dimming perform once the fan is installed?

The built-in WiFi lets you dim the supplied LED bulbs and adjust fan speed from a smartphone app or voice assistant without extra wiring or a separate hub.

What does the WiFi integration actually control on this fandelight?

The wireless connection handles on/off, brightness levels for all eight LEDs, and fan-speed settings; it does not extend to colour-temperature tuning or advanced scheduling beyond what the companion app provides.
