Provident 6-Light 15-Inch Chandelier

The Maxim Provident chandelier is a six-light decorative fixture measuring fifteen inches wide. It features pivoting metal bands finished in Oil Rubbed Bronze with transparent glass. This ceiling light suits dining rooms, foyers or living areas where a traditional silhouette is desired.

Upgrade from fixed-arm fixtures

The pivoting bands let you angle each arm to direct light where it is needed, replacing rigid chandeliers that cannot be adjusted. The change is worth it when you want flexible illumination without rewiring or adding secondary lamps.

Check ceiling height and wiring first

Verify the ceiling box can support the chandelier weight and that the chain length suits your room height. Confirm the circuit handles six bulbs and that local codes allow the Proposition 65 listed materials. Professional installation is recommended.

Questions about this item

What ceiling opening or mounting box does the 15" Provident chandelier require?

The fixture mounts to a standard ceiling junction box rated for its weight; the 15 inch diameter canopy covers the box opening.

How are the pivoting metal bands secured during installation, and what step is often missed?

The bands pivot on factory-set hinges; the step often missed is tightening the set screws that lock each band at the desired angle before wiring.

What replacement parts will the Provident chandelier need over time?

It uses six standard medium-base bulbs; replace bulbs as they burn out and inspect the Oil Rubbed Bronze finish periodically for touch-up.
