The notices apply to materials used in the Olde Brass finish and construction. No electrical, thermal or acoustic performance data is provided by the supplier for normal operation.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Maxim Schooner 3045RPOLB on an exterior wall, and what step is often missed?

Fasten the included bracket to a weatherproof junction box, then hang the tapered square shade from the bracket hooks; the step often missed is applying outdoor-rated silicone around the box perimeter before tightening the bracket screws.

Which parts will need replacement over time on the Maxim Schooner 3045RPOLB?

The lamp inside the clear Ripple glass panels is the only consumable; the Olde Brass finish, rivets and medallion are solid brass components that do not require scheduled replacement.

What limits continuous operation of the Maxim Schooner 3045RPOLB first?

The lamp’s rated wattage and the fixture’s enclosed shade design limit sustained use; exceeding the maximum wattage causes heat buildup that trips the thermal protector or shortens lamp life.
