12-pack Cat 6 cables for multi-device networking

This 12-pack of maximm Cat 6 Ethernet cables supplies 15 ft runs for wiring several devices at once. The purple colour helps identify connections in a busy rack or desk setup. Each cable uses 24AWG copper-clad aluminum conductors with HDPE insulation and a PVC jacket. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors feature molded snagless boots and strain relief for durable insertion and removal. The UTP design includes a separator across four twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

As a passive copper cable the product generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no power during operation. The PVC jacket and HDPE insulation maintain signal integrity up to 550 MHz bandwidth without active cooling. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation so insertion loss stays low over repeated mating cycles. The snagless boot protects the latch from bending, preventing intermittent links that could trigger retransmissions.

Fits standard RJ45 ports and frees Wi-Fi bandwidth

Each cable terminates in standard RJ45 plugs compatible with PC, laptop, server, printer, router, modem, switch, media player, streaming box and NAS ports. Wired connections remove those devices from the wireless spectrum, reducing congestion for mobile clients. The 15 ft length reaches from a wall jack or switch to desktop equipment without excess slack. ANSI/TIA-568-C.2, REACH and RoHS compliance confirms the materials meet recognised safety and performance baselines.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 24AWG copper-clad aluminum Cat 6 cable without damaging the molded snagless boot?

Push the gold-plated RJ45 connector straight into the port until the boot clicks, avoiding any sideways force that can tear the strain-relief molding.

What maintenance or replacement will the PVC-jacketed UTP cable with separator need over time?

Inspect the jacket for cracks or kinks; replace the cable if the 550 MHz bandwidth drops or the gold-plated contacts show corrosion.

What limit appears first when running 10Gbps continuously through the 15 ft purple patch cord?

The 550 MHz bandwidth ceiling and copper-clad aluminum conductor resistance will limit sustained 10GBASE-T throughput before the 15 ft length does.
