The MAXTECH B1516SC2-26D is a 15/16 inch mortise cylinder built from solid brass with a US26D satin chrome finish. It uses a Schlage SC1 keyway and comes keyed different in a boxed unit. This cylinder suits residential or commercial doors that accept a standard mortise lock body. It is not for doors pre-drilled for cylindrical latchsets or tubular deadbolts.

Thread And Cam Compatibility

The cylinder carries a 1.150 x 32 UNS thread and a 1.360 inch (34.5mm) face diameter. It ships with an Adams Rite Cam #2 fitted, while the design accepts other compatible cams. The five pin tumbler mechanism operates reliably within these mechanical limits. It will not fit lock bodies with a different thread pitch or face diameter.

Replacement For Worn Mortise Cylinders
