Its always-locked vestibule function keeps the outside lever rigid, requiring a key for every entry while the inside lever allows free egress. The angled lever design meets ADA requirements for barrier-free accessibility.

Verify Door Prep And Cylinder Compatibility

Confirm the door thickness falls between 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" and that the backset measures 2-3/4 inches to match the standard 161 preparation. The lock accepts cylinders from Schlage, Arrow, Marks, AWI, Lori, Falcon, ASSA and most Medeco, so check your existing key system before ordering. The unit is supplied keyed different with two keys per lock.

Corrosion Treated Mechanism With Separate Springs

A corrosion treated heavy gauge cold rolled steel case houses independent spring mechanisms for each lever, preventing arm sag and holding the lever horizontal. The solid brass 1/2" throw latchbolt is reversible for right or left hand doors and adjustable for flat or beveled edges. Wrought brass or bronze front and strike plates complete the 6600 series build.
