The Maxtech IC0626AH is a satin-chrome mortise interchangeable-core housing built from solid brass. It accepts small-format six-pin cores from Maxtech, Arrow, Best, Falcon and KSP, and includes an Adams Rite cam. The core itself is sold separately.

Six-pin small-format interchangeable core standard

This housing follows the small-format interchangeable-core convention, so only six-pin cores that match that pattern will operate. Cores with a different pin count or a large-format profile cannot be used. The screw-on cam design allows the cam to be swapped, but the housing length is fixed at 1-1/4".

Straightforward mortise installation

The housing threads into a standard mortise pocket and the screw-on cam can be changed to suit the lockset. Mis-threading the housing or using a core from an incompatible brand are the most common issues. Ensure the mortise cutout matches the 1-1/4" length before fitting.
