Passage Function for Hall & Closet

This Grade 2 cylindrical lever lockset provides a passage function with no cylinder, so the lever operates freely from both sides. It suits interior doors where locking is not required, such as hallways or closets. The non-handed design works on left or right-hand doors.

Satin Chrome Finish & ADA Lever

The satin chrome US26D finish covers a wrought brass or bronze front and strike, while a corrosion-treated cold-rolled mechanism resists wear. An angled lever meets ADA requirements with 50° travel and 2-inch clearance from the door face. Separate spring mechanisms on each side prevent lever sag over time.

Retrofit for Standard 161 Prep

The lock fits the standard 161 door preparation with a 2-3/4" backset and 2-1/8" bore, covering wood or metal doors from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. Reinforced removable studs stop rosette twisting during use. It does not serve doors that need a keyed entry or privacy function with a push-button or turn-piece.
