Its satin chrome US26D finish suits commercial corridors, offices and institutional buildings where durability and a clean appearance matter. The rigid outside lever prevents unauthorised entry while the inside lever allows free egress. ADA-compliant angled lever design ensures accessible operation for all users.

Upgrade from Residential or Grade 3 Hardware

This lock replaces lighter residential locksets or Grade 3 units when building codes or insurance requirements call for Grade 2 strength. The jump is worth it on doors that see heavy daily traffic or where a 6-pin SC4 keyway and rekeyable cylinder are needed for master-key systems. It fits the standard 161 door preparation without extra boring, so installation is straightforward on existing wood or metal doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick.

2-3/4" Backset with 1/2" Throw Latch

The 2-3/4" backset and reversible 1/2" throw solid brass latchbolt handle standard commercial door thicknesses and swing directions. Separate spring mechanisms for each lever prevent sag and maintain horizontal lever position over time. The ASA strike and 6600 series chassis accept Schlage, Arrow, Marks, AWI, Lori, Falcon, ASSA and most Medeco cylinders for flexible keying. It runs out on doors thinner than 1-3/8" or thicker than 1-3/4", and on frames requiring non-standard strike dimensions.
