A 12-megapixel IMX708 camera module with a 120° wide-angle M12 lens, manual focus, and a 15 cm 15-22 pin cable for all Raspberry Pi boards
This Arducam module uses a 12-megapixel IMX708 sensor and an M12 manual-focus lens to give a 120-degree horizontal field of view on any Raspberry Pi board. It connects through a 15-centimetre 15-22pin FFC cable and the CSI-2 interface, supporting Libcamera and Picamera2 for straightforward integration into vision projects.
The wide field of view suits robotics, surveillance and immersive streaming where scene coverage matters more than reach. Builders who require optical zoom, narrow FoV or interchangeable lens mounts should consider a different module because this unit has a fixed wide-angle M12 lens.
The sensor delivers stills up to 4608 by 2592 pixels and can output up to 3 megapixels in HDR mode on the Raspberry Pi platform. This resolution ceiling determines the detail level available for computer-vision pipelines or recording tasks.

The 15 cm 15‑22 pin cable fits Raspberry Pi 5, Pi 4B, Pi 3B and Pi Zero W or Zero 2 W boards that have a 22‑pin CSI connector.
Yes, the 120° horizontal field of view is a property of the M12 lens and IMX708 sensor, so it remains unchanged on Pi 3B, Pi 4B or Pi 5.
Run libcamera‑hello --list-cameras and then capture a test frame; the metadata will show 4608 × 2592 if the IMX708 is operating at its maximum resolution.
