Adds a 10/100M Ethernet port and three USB 2.0 ports to compatible Raspberry Pi boards in a compact 65×30 mm HAT
This HAT expansion board adds a wired RJ45 Ethernet connection and three USB ports to compatible Raspberry Pi models. It is built around the RTL8152B Ethernet chip and draws power from the Pi’s 5 V supply. The compact 65 mm by 30 mm footprint matches the Zero form factor and includes 3.0 mm mounting holes.
Developers who require a stable 10/100M Ethernet link or additional USB 2.0 connections for peripherals will benefit from this board. Builders who need Gigabit Ethernet speeds or USB 3.0 bandwidth should look at alternative solutions that provide those higher specifications.
The onboard RTL8152B controller delivers a single RJ45 port operating at 10/100M, which determines the maximum wired network throughput. Three downstream USB ports share USB 2.0 and 1.1 compatibility for keyboards, mice, storage or other accessories.

The board has no moving parts and no user-serviceable components, so the RTL8152B chip and the three USB 2.0 ports do not require scheduled replacement under normal use.
The RJ45 port is rated at 10/100M, so sustained traffic will top out at 100 Mbit/s regardless of how long the board operates.
The HAT draws power from the Pi’s 5 V rail, has no onboard fan, and runs silently; any warmth stays within the normal operating range of the Raspberry Pi itself.
