ESP32-S3 LoRa board with SX1262 radio, 0.96in OLED and 800mAh battery for Meshtastic and LoRaWAN nodes
The Heltec V3 ESP32 LoRa development board combines a dual-core 240MHz ESP32-S3 with an SX1262 LoRa transceiver for long-range wireless projects. It targets makers building Meshtastic networks, LoRaWAN sensors or smart-home and industrial control nodes. A .96in OLED and an 800mAh battery are integrated on the compact PCB.
Confirm that your development environment supports the ESP32-S3 architecture and the CP2102 USB-to-serial interface for flashing. The board exposes an IPEX antenna port, so you must source a compatible antenna for the LoRa radio. Ensure your enclosure design accommodates the pre-soldered GPIO header and the Type-C USB connector.
The supplied N30 black case protects the board while keeping the OLED visible for real-time status. Type-C USB provides both power and serial access without proprietary cables. The 21dBm transmit power and -134dBm sensitivity (SF12) suit remote deployments, while the onboard lithium management circuit handles charging cycles for the 800mAh cell.

The Heltec V3 board comes with the 0.96 OLED, an 800mAh battery and the N30 case included, so no extra parts are required to start.
It uses the SX1262 LoRa chip providing 21dBm transmit power and -134dBm sensitivity at SF12 for long-range links.
The 240MHz dual-core ESP32-S3 runs Meshtastic and LoRaWAN stacks smoothly while driving the OLED and managing Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi radios simultaneously.
