Three NRF24L01+ modules with PA and LNA for 2.4 GHz wireless links up to 1100 m, plus three 8-pin socket adapters
This kit provides three NRF24L01+PA+LNA modules with SMA antennas and three matching 8-pin socket adapters. It targets makers and developers building 2.4 GHz wireless links for remote control, smart home or sensor networks. The boards integrate a PA and LNA for extended range and include an on-board 3.3 V regulator for direct 5 V supply from an Arduino.
The modules operate in the 2.4 to 2.5 GHz ISM band with 125 selectable channels to avoid interference. Low-voltage design and auto-acknowledge with auto-retransmit keep current draw modest during normal packet exchanges. An on-board SMD LED indicates power status without adding audible noise or measurable heat in typical use.
Each module ships with a pre-fitted SMA connector for an external antenna and an AMS1117-3.3 regulator that accepts 5 V input. The included 8-pin socket adapters allow solderless breadboard or perfboard mounting, reducing wiring effort. Five-volt tolerant SPI pins enable direct connection to Arduino headers for rapid prototyping.

Plug each module into its 8 pin socket adapter, connect the adapter SPI pins to the Arduino, feed 5 V to the on-board AMS1117-3.3 regulator, and attach the SMA antenna; the step most often missed is supplying a clean 5 V rail so the regulator can deliver stable 3.3 V to the radio.
The modules have no moving parts or batteries; only the SMA antenna connector or the socket adapter pins may wear after repeated mating cycles, so keep spares of the 8 pin adapters and antennas for long-term projects.
The on-board 3.3 V regulator and the PA/LNA front-end heat up during sustained transmit bursts, so thermal throttling or voltage sag typically curtails range before the 125 selectable channels or the 1100 m specification become factors.
