Adds 5 V USB-A and 12 V header power plus a cooling fan to Raspberry Pi 3B+/4B via 40-pin GPIO using 802.3 af/at PoE
The MCDODO PoE HAT adds Power over Ethernet capability to Raspberry Pi 3B+ and 4B models through the 40-pin GPIO header. It accepts power from networks compliant with IEEE 802.3 af/at standards. The board delivers both 5 V via a USB Type-A port and 12 V through a header to run the Pi and attached peripherals.
The HAT draws its supply from the Ethernet cable, so the connected switch or injector must provide power under the 802.3 af or at specifications. Total output current is shared between the Raspberry Pi and any device plugged into the USB-A port. Cable length and quality affect voltage drop, which may reduce available power at the board.
The HAT mounts directly onto the 40-pin GPIO header with no soldering required. An onboard fan provides active cooling and connects to the board for automatic operation. Ensure the fan cable is seated correctly and that the PoE source is active before booting the Pi. The isolated SMPS design helps protect the Pi from ground-loop issues.

The HAT works with both IEEE 802.3 af and at, so it fits either standard on your 40-pin board.
It delivers isolated 5 V to the USB-A port and 12 V to the header, powering the Pi and extra devices from the Ethernet cable.
The 40-pin header carries the converted 5 V and 12 V rails from the MP8676 buck chip while the onboard fan keeps the board cool.
