12 MP IMX708 camera module with 102° fixed-focus lens and HDR for Raspberry Pi boards
This 12MP IMX708 camera module is built for Raspberry Pi developers and IoT edge projects. It connects to Raspberry Pi 5, 4, 4B, 3, 2 and Zero W boards using the included 15-22pin and 22-22pin FPC cables. The board delivers a 102° horizontal field of view for wide-angle capture in maker applications.
The single specification that decides fit is the fixed-focus 102° lens. Unlike autofocus alternatives, this lens cannot adjust its focal distance, so it suits installations where the subject distance is constant. Buyers who need variable focus for close-up inspection or changing scenes should choose a different module.
The IMX708 back-illuminated stacked CMOS maintains 3MP HDR output during continuous streaming without thermal throttling. Fixed focus eliminates hunting latency, keeping frame timing predictable for long-running computer-vision tasks. The wide-angle view remains stable across extended recording sessions in edge deployments.

The IMX708 back-illuminated stacked CMOS captures 12-megapixel stills and supports 3MP HDR video output on every supported board.
The bundle includes both cable types so the module plugs directly into the 22-pin CSI connector on Pi 5, Pi 4/4B and Pi 3, and into the 15-pin connector on Pi 2 and Zero W without adapters.
The compact board matches the official Camera Module 3 footprint, so it mounts in the same standard cases and brackets while giving a 102° wide-angle view with no focus adjustment needed.
