1978 Superman Deluxe Figure

This 7.41-inch scale action figure replicates Christopher Reeve's portrayal in Superman: The Movie from 1978. It is designed for adult collectors and fans of the DC Multiverse line aged twelve and up. The figure features multicolor detailing and carries the manufacturer part number 17839.

Ultra Articulation and Accessory Set

Ultra Articulation provides up to 22 moving parts for a full range of posing options. The package includes ten accessories: eight extra hands, two alternate head portraits, an art card with a card stand, a mini poster with display clips, and a figure display base. The collectible art card features character art on the front and a biography on the back.

Display-Focused Construction

The figure is intended primarily for static display rather than rigorous play. The included base and display clips support shelf presentation, while the cloth cape element may limit articulation in certain poses. Collectors seeking sealed-box investment grading should note the open-tray packaging style.

Questions about this item

Will the 22 moving articulation joints loosen over time and need tightening?

The figure uses friction joints at up to 22 points; normal posing may gradually reduce tension, but no user-serviceable adjustment is designed into the joints.

What limits how long the figure can stay in a dynamic pose without sagging?

Joint friction across the 22 articulation points is the limiting factor; heavier accessories or extreme angles will cause gradual pose drift.

Does the 7.41-inch figure generate any heat or noise when displayed continuously?

No — it is a static plastic collectible with no electronics, motors or lighting, so it produces zero heat and zero noise.
