2-Pack Retractable Keychain Badge Reel

This two-pack supplies retractable badge reels built for daily credential carry. Each unit combines a zinc-alloy carabiner with a PVC badge buckle for attachment to belts, backpacks or lanyard loops. The heavy-duty design targets workers who need secure, hands-free access to ID cards and keys throughout a shift.

Installation and common issues

Clipping the carabiner onto a belt loop or pack strap takes seconds and requires no tools. The 0.039 stainless steel cord extends several feet to reach readers without stretching the user's arm. A worn spring can eventually fail to retract fully, so periodic checks keep cards from dangling loose.

8.0 oz retraction force

The reel delivers 8.0 oz of retraction force, strong enough to hold most key rings without sagging. Buyers who need to support heavier tool clusters or multi-key bunches should verify the load before relying on the clip. The 31.5-inch steel cord length determines maximum reach.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the retractable cord extends the full 31.5 inches and retracts smoothly after setup?

Pull the cord out fully to verify it reaches 31.5 inches, then release it to watch the stainless steel cord snap back without slack or sticking.

What comes in the 2-pack and do I need any extra hardware to attach it to a belt or backpack?

The pack includes two complete badge reels each with a zinc alloy carabiner and PVC badge buckle, so no separate clips or tools are required for belt or backpack mounting.

Which cord thickness should I choose for holding a standard set of keys without sagging?

The 0.039 inch stainless steel cord with 8.0 oz retraction force is the only version offered and is rated to support typical key bundles without sliding down.
