Anti-theft phone tether for outdoor use

The MCHOSE retractable steel lanyard secures a smartphone to a belt or backpack with a lockable metal carabiner. A 360° rotating ring prevents the cord from tangling during movement. It is designed for activities such as skiing, hiking, climbing and fishing where dropping a device is a risk.

Upgrade from basic fabric straps

This tether replaces simple neck lanyards or wrist loops that lack a locking mechanism and can snap under tension. The steel pull cord extends to 27.56 inches with moderate force and is coated for wear resistance. The jump is worth it when you need a secure, hands-free connection that survives repeated outdoor use.

Simple two-step attachment

The package includes a metal 360° tether tab that adheres inside a full-coverage phone case and a quick-release connector for full or half-coverage cases. Installation requires no tools; press the tab firmly and clip the carabiner. What usually goes wrong is applying the tab to a textured or dirty case surface, which weakens the adhesive bond.
