What it is

This set includes two retractable badge reels with 60 cm steel wire cables and matching paracord lanyards featuring a 3D USA flag design. Each reel supports up to 170 g and is rated for over 100 000 retractions. The carabiner clips allow quick attachment to belts, bags or backpacks for workers and travelers who need credentials or keys at hand.

Thermals noise and power

No thermal, acoustic or electrical specifications are provided for this accessory. The spring-loaded reel operates mechanically without a power source and produces no measurable heat or fan noise during normal use. Durability is achieved through a stainless-steel spring and reinforced straps rather than active cooling.

Retraction length

The steel cord extends to 23 inches, giving enough reach to swipe a badge or use keys without unclipping the reel. Buyers who need a longer pull distance or a heavier load capacity than 170 g should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the retractable reel so the 60 cm steel cable feeds correctly?

Clip the metal carabiner to a belt loop, bag strap or backpack; the ABS housing stays fixed while the stainless-steel spring extends the cord up to 23 inches for badge or key access.

Which part of the paracord lanyard will need replacement first under daily wear?

The military-grade braided nylon paracord is rated to 300 lb capacity and designed for long-term use; the retractable reel's spring is tested to 100 000+ retractions, so either component could wear first depending on load.

What load limit appears first when I keep a heavy key ring on the reel all day?

The reel supports up to 6 oz (170 g); exceeding that weight will overcome the stainless-steel spring before the 300 lb paracord or the carabiner reaches its limit.
