Four-port USB 3.0 hub for laptop expansion
This ultra-slim hub turns a single USB 3.0 port into four, letting you connect flash drives, mice, keyboards, speakers, controllers or external hard drives to laptops such as MacBook, Surface Pro or XPS models. It works with Windows, macOS and Linux systems and supports OTG devices. No external power is required and charging is not supported.
5 Gbps bandwidth shared across four ports
The hub transfers data at up to 5 Gbps, ten times faster than USB 2.0, so an HD movie can be moved in seconds. All four ports share this single 5 Gbps channel, so simultaneous heavy transfers from multiple drives will run slower than the peak rate. It is designed for data devices, not for charging phones or tablets.
Slim aluminium-style casing
The compact housing uses an advanced chipset with thermal protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit and overheating, staying cool during extended use. A fixed 2 ft cable reaches desktop ports without strain, and the hub supports plug-and-play hot-swapping so you can add or remove devices without restarting.

Questions about this item
Will my USB 2.0 flash drives and mouse still work when plugged into the 4 USB 3.0 ports on this hub?
Yes, each USB 3.0 port is backward compatible so USB 2.0 devices operate at their native speed without any extra setup.
How can I confirm the hub is delivering 5Gbps SuperSpeed after I connect it?
Plug in a USB 3.0 flash drive and check the transfer rate in your OS; it should approach the 5Gbps SuperSpeed rating when the host port is also USB 3.0.
Does the package include a power adapter or do I need to buy one separately?
The box contains the MH04 hub with its 2ft attached cable and a user manual only; no power adapter is included because the hub draws power from the host port.
