Cut-resistant leather gloves rated ANSI/ISEA A3 with Kevlar knit and cowhide palm, meeting ANSI 105 and EN388 standards
The MCR Safety 9686 gloves provide ANSI/ISEA cut level A3 protection for workers handling sharp materials. A Kevlar knit shell and cowhide leather palm combine cut resistance with abrasion level 5 durability. The uncoated design preserves tactile feel for assembly, material handling and general maintenance tasks. One pair fits both left and right hands.
These gloves meet ANSI 105 and EN 388 test methods for cut and abrasion performance. The A3 rating covers light to medium cut hazards but does not address puncture, impact or chemical splash risks. No coating means oils and solvents can penetrate the leather, so they are unsuitable for wet or chemically aggressive environments. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to substances in the product.
The Kevlar liner and cowhide palm comfortably handle routine sheet-metal edges, glass handling and packaging work where moderate cut exposure exists. Abrasion level 5 extends wear life on rough surfaces such as concrete or timber. Protection runs out when hazards exceed A3 cut force, when puncture risks appear or when chemical resistance is required.

The listing shows the XL version of the 9686 model; choose XL if that matches your hand measurement.
It indicates the glove material resists a defined cutting force under the ANSI 105 test method, giving moderate cut protection for tasks such as material handling.
EN388 includes an abrasion test; the gloves achieve Abrasion Level 5, the highest rating on that scale, showing strong wear resistance.
