MCR Safety LW2120 welding glasses

The MCR Safety LW2120 welding glasses provide eye protection for welders and metalworkers who need a green filter. They meet ANSI Z87+ impact standards and feature scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses in a half-frame nylon design.

Installation and fit

The lightweight half-frame slips on like standard safety glasses and requires no tools or adjustment. The non-polarized green lenses reduce glare without distorting colour perception, and the scratch-resistant coating survives daily cleaning. Because there is no foam lining, dust can enter from the sides in very dirty environments.

Green filter shade and standard

The green filter shade is the single specification that determines whether this model matches your welding process. The glasses are certified to ANSI Z87+ for high-impact protection. Buyers who need a darker or lighter filter shade, a polarized lens, or a full-face shield should select a different product.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the green-filter lenses meet the ANSI Z87+ standard after I put them on?

Look for the permanent Z87+ marking moulded into the polycarbonate lens; its presence confirms the glasses comply with the cited impact standard.

What comes in the package and do I need to buy side shields or a retainer strap separately?

The box contains the half-frame nylon safety glasses with scratch-resistant green polycarbonate lenses only; side shields and retainer straps are not included and must be purchased separately if required.

Which lens shade should I choose for light-duty welding or cutting tasks?

The green filter shade supplied with model LW2120 is the single option offered; select it when the job calls for a green-tinted lens that reduces glare while maintaining colour recognition.
