Aluminum Frame 22x28" Black

The MCS Classic Aluminum Frame in black measures 22 by 28 inches and suits anyone wanting a clean border for posters or artwork. Its lightweight aluminum build makes handling simple while keeping the piece secure on the wall. The minimalist profile fits modern interiors without drawing attention away from the print. A wire hanging kit is included for horizontal or vertical orientation.

Capacity and headroom

The frame accepts a single 22x28 inch sheet behind a clear plastic display protected by film on both sides. It handles standard movie posters and casual art prints at this exact dimension. Thicker mounts or oversized pieces will not sit flat inside the shallow rebate. The plastic glazing is lighter than glass but scratches more easily if cleaned roughly.

Upgrade path

This model replaces basic plastic or wood frames that lack a hanging system or use a thicker moulding. The jump is worth it when you want a slimmer metal profile and the flexibility to switch between landscape and portrait without new hardware. It does not suit collectors needing UV-filter glazing, archival backing or a deep rabbet for canvas stretchers.

Questions about this item

Will the 22x28" aluminium frame sit flush against the wall when I use the included wire hanging kit?

Yes, the wire hanging kit is designed for both horizontal and vertical mounting, letting the thin-profile frame hang close to the wall in either orientation.

How do I know the clear plastic display is ready for my poster once the frame is assembled?

Peel the protective film off both sides of the clear plastic; once the film is removed the surface is clean and distortion-free, showing the artwork clearly.

Does the box contain everything needed to hang the 44283 frame, or must I buy hooks or wire separately?

The box includes the aluminium frame, the clear plastic display with protective film, and a versatile wire hanging kit, so no extra hanging hardware is required.
