Frame size and mat window

The MCS Classic Aluminum Frame measures 16 by 20 inches and includes a precision-cut mat with an 11 by 14 inch window. It is designed for photographers, artists and decorators who want a sleek black metal frame that can display two print sizes in one package.

Plexi lens and bevel

The ultra-clear glare-resistant plexi lens protects the artwork while maintaining an unobstructed view. A 45-degree bevel on the photo-safe mat adds depth and prevents the print from touching the glazing.

Hanging hardware included

Wall mounts are supplied so the frame can be hung immediately without extra purchases. The moulding accepts both horizontal and vertical orientation, but the mat window is fixed at 11 by 14 inches so larger prints must be used without the mat.

Questions about this item

How does the 16x20 inch outer size change when I use the included 11x14 inch mat?

The mat creates a centered window that shows only the 11 by 14 inch portion of your print, covering the outer border completely.

What does the 45 degree bevel on the mat do for the finished look?

The angled cut reveals a thin white core that separates the image from the black frame, adding depth and a professional gallery appearance.

What hardware is supplied so the 16x20 inch aluminum frame can be hung on a wall?

Wall mounts are included in the box, allowing the frame to be hung securely in either portrait or landscape orientation.
