Economical Poster Frame for Students

This black poster frame from MCS measures 24 by 36 inches and uses a Masonite back board. It is part of a range that spans 16 x 20 up to 27 x 41 inches and is described by the supplier as a very popular economical choice ideally suited for students.

Buyers wanting glass or acrylic glazing

This model ships without a front protective sheet so collectors who need UV filtering or shatter resistance should look elsewhere. Renters or dorm residents who cannot use nails or heavy anchors may also prefer a lighter frameless alternative.

Questions about this item

What size poster or print does the 24 x 36 inch frame hold?

The frame is built for a 24 x 36 inch poster, so the artwork must match those exact dimensions to fit behind the glazing.

Can I use the same Masonite backing board if I swap a 16 x 20 inch print into this frame later?

No — the backing board is cut to 24 x 36 inches, so a smaller print would need its own correctly sized board to sit flat and secure.
