Product identity

The MCS Classic Format Frame is a black plastic picture frame sold in a six-pack for displaying 8.5 by 11 inch photographs or documents. It suits home users, offices and classrooms that need a uniform, low-cost way to present standard letter-size prints on a wall.

Mounting limits

Each frame includes moulded openings on the back that accept either vertical or horizontal hanging, but the hardware for attaching them to the wall is not supplied. The thin edge profile keeps the frame close to the surface, yet the plastic construction means it is not suited to heavy-duty or outdoor mounting where stronger materials would be required.

Installation notes

The smooth trimmed glass panel pops out so a photograph can be inserted and the glass replaced without tools. Care is needed when handling the glass to avoid fingerprints or chipping the edges, and the lightweight plastic may flex slightly if the frame is lifted by one corner instead of supported evenly.

Questions about this item

Does the 6-pack of 8.5x11" frames cover all my certificates or should I buy more?

Each pack contains six identical frames sized for 8.5x11 inch documents, so one pack handles six items; add another pack if you have more than six.

Will the smooth trimmed glass on these 8.5x11" frames show glare in a bright hallway?

The clear glass protects photos from dust and damage but has no anti-reflective coating, so expect normal glare under strong direct light.

Can the molded openings on the back of the 104491 frames hold them securely in both portrait and landscape?

Yes, the moulded openings are designed for both vertical and horizontal mounting, allowing secure hanging in either orientation.
