What the magnifier does and who uses it
The ME602 provides 12X magnification through a 5 by 3 inch rectangular glass lens that reduces edge distortion compared with round lenses. A 12.2 inch flexible gooseneck lets you position the lens for reading, sewing, embroidery, miniature painting or electronics repair. Five colour modes with stepless dimming are controlled by a single button on the lamp head so adjustments never interrupt the task. The package includes a metal base, a 110V to 220V AC adapter, a cleaning cloth and the user manual.
Heat, noise and power in normal use
The LED light source runs cool during typical reading or craft sessions and produces no audible fan noise because the unit has no moving parts. Power is drawn from the supplied 5V 2A adapter that accepts 110V to 220V mains voltage, so energy consumption stays low while the lamp is on. The all‑metal base adds stability without adding heat, keeping the work surface comfortable for long periods.
Behaviour under sustained load
During extended use such as multi‑hour painting or detailed repair work the LED output remains steady and the gooseneck holds its position without sagging. The glass lens resists scratches from repeated cleaning with the included cloth, and the head‑mounted button continues to cycle through colour modes and brightness levels reliably. No thermal throttling or colour shift occurs because the low‑wattage LED array is designed for continuous operation.

Questions about this item
How do I install the ME602 magnifying lamp and what step do people often miss?
Place the metal base on a stable surface, insert the 12.2 in gooseneck, connect the AC 5V/2A adapter, and keep the lens parallel to the object while gently adjusting distance for the clearest 12X view.
What maintenance will the ME602 need over time?
Clean the glass lens with the included wipe cloth, check the gooseneck joints for stiffness, and replace the AC adapter if the 5 color modes or stepless dimming become unreliable.
What limit appears first during extended use of the ME602?
The 12X magnification requires a precise focal distance; eye strain or image blur occurs if the lens is not kept parallel and at the correct working distance during long sessions.
