Extended Dark-Theme Desk Mat

The Mechanical Cattle fd687678 desk mat measures 31.5 x 15.8 inches with a 0.16 inch thickness. Its polyester fabric surface and natural rubber base cover a full keyboard and mouse area. The dark-theme print resists fading and wrinkling on daily use.

Suits single-surface setups; not for compact desks

Gamers and office users who want one continuous pad for keyboard and mouse will appreciate the 800 x 400 mm footprint. Buyers with limited desk depth or who prefer separate mouse pads should look at smaller options instead.

Handles full-size keyboard plus mouse.

The 31.5 inch length accommodates a standard full-size keyboard with room for broad mouse sweeps. It does not extend far enough to span under dual monitors or very wide ergonomic keyboards.

Questions about this item

Does my desk need to be at least 31.5 inches wide and 15.8 inches deep to fit this mat?

Yes, the mat measures 31.5 by 15.8 inches, so your desktop must provide at least that much clear area for it to lie flat.

Will my existing mouse with a standard optical sensor track reliably on the polyester cloth surface?

The ultra-smooth polyester cloth top is designed for optimum speed and accurate control with all mouse types, including standard optical sensors.

How can I confirm the non-slip rubber base is gripping properly after I place the mat?

Press down on the centre and edges; the 4 mm thick rubber backing should keep the mat from sliding on any flat surface during use.
