XXL Desk Pad Dimensions

The Mechanical Cattle fd687678 Night Castle mouse pad measures 31.5 by 15.8 inches with a 0.1 inch profile. Its enlarged footprint covers a full desktop area for keyboard and mouse together.

Surface Preference and Portability

The cloth-top rubber-base construction suits users who want a consistent glide and a stationary pad on any desk. Buyers needing a hard plastic surface or a compact pad for travel should consider other options.

Coverage and Thickness Limits

The 31.5 by 15.8 inch size accommodates a full-size keyboard and wide mouse sweeps comfortably. The 0.1 inch thickness provides minimal cushioning, so users wanting a plush wrist rest will find it insufficient.

Questions about this item

Do I need a desk at least 31.5 in wide and 15.8 in deep for the Night Castle pad?

Yes, the pad measures 31.5 x 15.8 inches (800 x 400 mm), so your desk surface must be at least that large to lay it flat.

Will my existing optical or laser mouse track reliably on the 4 mm thick polyester surface?

The smooth cloth top is designed for all mouse types, and the 4 mm rubber base prevents sliding during fast swipes.

How can I confirm the pad is lying flat and tracking correctly after I unbox it?

Unroll it, let the 4 mm rubber base grip the desk, then move your mouse — the cursor should glide without snagging or lift-off.
