MECHEN M30 64 GB Portable Player
The MECHEN M30 is a high-resolution portable audio player that uses a 64 GB SD card for music storage. It combines a professional DSP audio IC with a WM8965 DAC and TPA6530 amplifier for lossless playback. The 2.0 inch LCD screen shows lyrics and track information at 320 by 240 resolution. A CNC aluminium alloy shell and scroll wheel provide tactile control in a pocket-sized design.
Suited for lossless library listeners
Buyers who want to play DSD 128, FLAC up to 192 kHz, APE, WAV and other high-resolution formats directly from removable storage will appreciate the wide codec support. The 1500 mAh battery delivers 25 hours of continuous playback after a two-hour charge. Users who require built-in memory, wireless streaming or a touchscreen interface should look at other devices.
Deciding specification: WM8965 DAC with TPA6530 amp
This dual-chip decoding chain is the core component that enables native DSD 128 and PCM playback up to 192 kHz without software resampling. It determines whether the player can reproduce the full dynamic range of your high-resolution files. If your library stays within standard MP3 or AAC bit-rates, the extra decoding headroom will not be used.
