The MECHEN X55 is a pocket-sized Android device that stores local music and video while also streaming from services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Audible and Pandora over Wi-Fi. It targets listeners who want lossless audio formats and 1080p video playback without carrying a smartphone.

Expandable via micro SD with included 64 GB card

Internal memory of 96 GB handles large libraries, and the micro SD slot accepts the bundled 64 GB card for extra space. Bluetooth connects wireless headphones or speakers, while the built-in speaker allows quick playback without accessories. Google Play Store access lets users install additional apps directly on the player.

4 inch IPS touchscreen runs at 480 by 800 resolution

The display supports 720p and 1080p video decoding for cinema-grade viewing in a compact form. A lithium-ion battery powers the HiFi decoding chip and wireless radios during extended listening sessions. Professional noise-reduction circuitry keeps audio clean at typical volume levels.
