Five-key PBT set for MX boards

This five-piece keycap pack uses dye-sublimated PBT plastic so legends will not wear or fade. The OEM profile sits slightly taller than Cherry profile, giving a familiar sculpted feel for touch typists. Only the keycaps are included; no keyboard or extra accessories ship in the box.

Fits any MX-compatible switch stem

Each cap mounts directly onto Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh or other MX-style stems without adapters. The 1.55 mm wall thickness adds rigidity while keeping the total weight negligible. Builders who need a full keyset or stabilised spacebars must source those pieces separately.

Replaces stock ABS caps on high-use keys

Swapping the ESC or arrow cluster for these thicker PBT caps removes the shine that develops on factory ABS within weeks. The jump is worthwhile when those specific keys see constant gaming or coding traffic. Buyers wanting a uniform look across the whole board will need a matching full set.

Questions about this item

How thick are the PBT keycaps and will they develop shine over time?

Each cap is about 1.55 mm thick PBT with dye-sublimated legends that resist shine and fading.

Do these keycaps produce a different sound or heat compared to thinner ABS caps?

Thick PBT gives a deeper thock and stays cool because the material does not absorb hand heat like thin ABS.

Which switch stems are required for the five Pac-man caps to fit?

They fit any standard MX-style stem — Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and other MX-compatible switches.
